Shark Racing and Logan Schuchart Team Up with Federated Auto Parts and Shiloh Paving
To Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer in Seven October World of Outlaws Races
HANOVER, PA – Our purpose is greater than just chasing victories on the World of Outlaws (WoO) NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series trail and during the month of October, Shark Racing’s Logan Schuchart will race a special Pink-accented Federated Auto Parts No. 1s in seven WoO races to promote “Chomping For The Cure”, a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
“We have great partners that help us chase our dreams and when the opportunity came for us to give back to others we were all about helping the cause,” said Schuchart, who currently ranks fifth in the Outlaw championship standings in his 13th season on tour. “J.R. Bishop from Federated and Wally Reed from Shiloh Paving helped us put together this program to raise awareness for breast cancer. We’ll be racing the car at tracks in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Arkansas and viewers around the globe will be able to see it in action on DIRTvision.”
The campaign begins October 1st and donations will be accepted until 12 midnight on October 31. All donations for this campaign will be made directly through the Making Strides of South Central PA contribution portal. Our goal for the campaign, in addition to creating awareness, is to fill the top wing with personalized donation ribbons.
Donations of $25, $50, $75 or $100 can be made with each donation amount being is incentivized:
$25 – 1 Helmet Entry
$50 – 3 Helmet Entries, plus Chomping for the Cure ribbon with your name + an additional name to recognize
$75 – 5 Helmet Entries, plus Chomping for the Cure ribbon with your name + an additional name to recognize
$100 – 10 Helmet Entries, plus Chomping for the Cure ribbon with your name + an additional name to recognize
“Kenny Schrader did a similar program for Federated a few years ago and in 2024, we partnered with Shiloh for their Pink Hard Hats for Cancer Awareness campaign,” continued Schuchart. “I’ll be wearing a custom-painted pink helmet painted by Clems Designs and one lucky winner will win an autographed replica of the helmet. Everyone that donates has a chance to win the helmet, and those who donate at least $50 will get their name and someone they would like to recognize on a ribbon that will be on my car during those seven races.”
Donations can be made immediately by scanning the QR code, visiting: Chomping For The Cure or at the Shark Racing Apparel trailer at the track. Click on “Donate to Save Lives” and select your contribution amount. Please double-check your contact information when submitting your donation. A Shiloh Paving representative will reach out to confirm entries and coordinate tribute decals.
Ribbons will be added to the car as they are received with the donations made by 5 p.m. Thursday each week guaranteeing a ribbon will be placed on the car for that Friday with donations made by 5p.m. Friday placing you on the car for Saturday. Those that participate will receive an electronic image of the car and their personalized ribbon. **First 100 ribbons will be placed on the top wing. **
Replica helmet and additional prizes will be chosen during live random drawing on Shiloh Paving Facebook page, Wednesday, November 4 at 1 p.m. ET.
